This dataset is a compilation of residential schedules for the entire city for black, blue and green bin collection. (Updated to include Summer and Winter Collection schedules).

This file includes the licensed businesses in the City of Calgary. Data fields include: Trade name, Business Location, Creation Date, Status, Licence Type and Community District of the business. All businesses created before October 7, 1994 reflect this date as their anniversary date. Not all business require a municipal licence but may still require licensing, permits or inspections from other regulatory bodies. View up-to-the-minute traffic camera images of current road conditions on major routes as well as other key intersections. *These cameras are solely for traffic monitoring and not enforcement. Camera footage is not recorded. Cameras can be down for maintenance or in the case of collisions, to protect the identity of those involved.*

This dataset lists the maximum speed limits throughout Calgary. It does not list the default residential speed limit of 40 km/hr, which is being reduced from 50 km/h to 40 km/h effective May 31, 2021. This dataset is used for identification and is not considered an official record of speed limits for any given time. It is not used for enforcement purposes.

A water service pipe, also known as a water service line, is the way drinking water is delivered to each home in Calgary. The water service pipe can be thought of as two sections:
(1) From the water main to the property line: This part of the pipe is owned and maintained by The City of Calgary.
(2) From the property line to your house: This part of the pipe is owned and maintained by the homeowner.
The data shown here only relates to the portion of the water service pipe on public property, owned and operated by The City. The material on private property can be a different material, and could have been installed at a different time. The data shown on this map is subject to change due to parcel re-development or The City repair/maintenance activities. This file contains address information for land parcels within The City of Calgary.

The City Limits or boundaries are the jurisdictional extents of the city of Calgary. They are governed by provincial board orders, provincial reports prepared following the hearing and approval of a petition for annexation. The city limits are only changed as a result of a board order of the Municipal Government Board.
